Another day of watching movies I’ve been recommended but know absolutely nothing about. Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson are just those kinds of actors that seem to play the same role in every movie more or less, but somehow leave people, or me at least, thinking that this is somehow part of what makes them great actors. I’ll suss that out later. The movie has some nice psychological underpinnings, and while the ending was predictable, I was too busy thinking of the finer points of this sort of meta comic based in “reality” sort of deal. Definitely some plot holes, and the score was somehow simultaneously overwrought and ham-fisted, but otherwise it was an enjoyable film.
