Great movie. Loved Frank Miller as a kid. “Neo-Noir” without taking more than it can offer in terms of creativity, which is what I think often happens. Not a big Rodriguez fan, but it’s still a wholehearted thumbs up. It doesn’t have the tedium of a superhero movie, but it does have enough comic strip charm mixed with clever twists for me to not spend my viewing experience cutting apart plotholes and yawning at how many times a person can get shot, hit by cars, and beaten with bats without having too much damage. This time, it didn’t nag me.
