Pretty Maids All In A Row

Good movie. A mystery and what is described as “black humor” on wikipedia, which isn’t accurate. It’s not funny, but it’s a bit hard not to call it sleazy, even for the most “free-spirited” of us. I didn’t guess the killer, that’s for sure, although I didn’t take the bait they were giving out at every opportunity either. Telly Savalas does his usual detective work, although nothing special about his role here really. Gene Roddenberry wrote this as his only screenplay for film, which means he’s definitely a perv. Quentin Tarantino says it’s one of his favorites, and I’m not surprised. I like it, it’s a good one. There’s an intelligent undercarriage to it, and that’s what I need in order to keep interested, especially when things get ludicrous. Absolutely uncanny that someone posted about this movie here just before I was about to watch it. Facebook must have the microchips in our brains already.
